General Settings and Basic Conditions

Explains the concept for general settings in the Pipe Network Calculation Gas.

Before you start calculating the pipe network after the design, you should make the settings relevant to the calculation in order to achieve realistic results as quickly as possible.

Check the settings for the layers to be included in the detection and decide whether the entire network or only parts of it should be included in the calculation. Select the desired design method, adjust the limits for pressure loss and velocity, and specify the method for determining pressure loss.

The parameters in the settings are usually preset with appropriate values, which you can adjust to the requirements of your project if necessary.
