About the Analyse Tab

Analyse Command Group

On the Analyse command group, you will find tools for calculating and detailing pipe or duct networks, appropriate to the selected discipline. You can also create, print and export parts lists here. In the discipline Architecture, the tab contains, among other things, all the important commands and setting options for building detection and the command for transferring the building model to LINEAR Building.

In the calculation dialog, the constructed pipe or duct network can be calculated and corrected to the calculated nominal diameters. You can adjust the nominal diameters for the entire network or for partial networks. Calculation results can be visualized in different ways in in the drawing and the labeling of pipe/duct sections or components can also be started directly from the calculation dialog.

In the Settings, you can set basic parameters for the calculation; with the tools for classifying and setting components, you define settings for the calculation directly on the component. You can define pipe or duct material incl. insulation for different applications with different manufacturers and assign them automatically during calculation. If it is necessary to adjust the properties of the medium in the network, you can change existing media or create new ones here.

In the disciplines Fire Protection, Electrical, Radiant Heating and Cooling, Slot and Breakthrough Planning and Mounting Planning, only the checking procedures are available to you on this tab. They help you to detect faulty design in the network and to correct it.

Reports Command Group

The reports from the various examination procedures and from the pipe or air duct network calculation of the respective disciplines are listed in the Reports command group. You can use this command group to locate the origin of a message in the drawing in order to subsequently analyse and, if necessary, correct the cause.
