Connecting Radiators to Supply and Return Pipes

Shows step-by-step how to connect radiators in a heating pipe network to supply and return pipes.

Before you begin

You want to connect the radiators in your drawing to the supply and return pipes.

Requirements:

You have drawn both radiators as well as supply and return pipes.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Heating ➤ 3D - Model planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Pipes

Applies to: Heating, Cooling.

Procedure

Click on the Connect supply/return < button.
Select the supply and return pipes and the radiators to be connected.
Confirm the selection by right-clicking or pressing Enter.
The Connect radiator dialog opens.
Make the settings for the supply and return connection in the dialog.

Note: The result of the settings made is displayed in the preview window of the dialog.
Click OK to close the dialog.

Results

The selected supply and return pipes and radiator have been connected to each other.
