Continuing a Pipe or Air Duct

Shows step-by-step how to continue drawing an existing pipe or air duct.

Before you begin

You want to continue drawing on an existing pipe or air duct.

Note:

The settings for the construction plane, reference edge, construction height or medium do not need to be adjusted to continue drawing pipes or air ducts. However, the correct discipline and planning type must be selected.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline ➤ 3D - Model planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Pipes

Procedure

Click on the Draw duct < or Draw pipe < button.
Move the mouse pointer to the open duct or pipe end.

The green connection is displayed.
Click on the green connection arrow.

Results

The drawing command is started and you can continue drawing the duct or pipe.
