In this dialog, you can specify the settings for importing Excel room data sheets.

Selected Room Data Sheet

Shows the path to the currently selected Excel room data sheet. Clicking on opens the file explorer, where you can open the room data sheet to be imported.

Worksheet

Dropdown list for selecting the table sheet containing the Excel room book data.

ID Column

Dropdown list for selecting the column in which LINEAR Building IDs for unique identification of rooms are to be written. If the specified column already contains entries, a dialog appears after clicking on Import in which you can cancel the process and specify another column or continue and overwrite existing values.

Header Row

Number of the row containing the headlines of the Excel room book.

Data starting from row

Specify the first row where room book data, such as the areas of individual rooms, begin in the Excel room book.

Table

In this table, you assign the room parameters for import to the Excel columns.

Table Column	Description
Excel Column	Displays the column headers of the Excel room data sheet.
Room Parameters	Clicking in a cell activates the button , which opens a context menu where room parameters can be assigned to the data from the room data sheet. The mappings are saved in the user standards. For future import from a room data sheet, the program automatically suggests a suitable assignment if they match the room data sheet columns of the last mapping used. If necessary, you can create additional room parameters for assignment by selecting New Parameter in the context menu and then specifying the name and unit of the parameter. New parameters are available in the Room Data Sheet module after import.
Unit	Shows the unit with which an assigned prameter is imported. The unit is only displayed here and can not be edited.

Import

Imports the Excel room data sheet according to the settings you made.
