Supply Air Volume Flow Rate (Mechanical)

Occupancy of Bedrooms, Children’s Rooms and Guest Rooms:

• Standard Occupancy: When setting the occupancy of bedrooms, children's rooms and guest rooms, the values stored in the Standard Occupancy dialog are used.

• Allocate People: In the DIN 1946-6 Domestic Ventilation calculation method in the Ventilation module, you can specify the number of people for the individual ventilation zones. This figure is divided equally between bedrooms, children's rooms and guest rooms, starting with the room that has the highest supply air factor. If the number of persons cannot be divided equally, the room with the highest supply air factor will have the greater number of persons.

Standard Occupancy: Opens the Standard Occupancy dialog where you can define how many people should be considered per bedroom, children’s room and guest room, when the Standard Occupancy is selected.

Distribution Factors: Opens the Distribution Factors dialog, where you can configure the default distribution factor used for the supply air room types.

Design Pressure Difference OAO

The differential pressure affects the minimum cross section area of the overflow air vent. According to the standard, the value may be adjusted within certain limits.

Natural Ventilation: Possible values lie between 0.1 and 1.0 Pa.

Mechanical Ventilation: Possible values lie between 0.1 and 1.5 Pa.

Standard: Resets the values for Natural Ventilation and Mechanical Ventilation to the default settings.

Result Volume Flow Rates

Rounding of Mechanical Supply and Extract Air Volume Flows

Enabled: The mechanical supply and extract air volume flows are rounded according to the set increment. Manual adjustments to the volume flows are still possible.

Step Size: Defines the step size when rounding the mechanical supply and extract air volume flows.
