Loading an Underlay

Shows step-by-step how to load an underlay so that you can subsequently recreate an architecture on that basis.

Before you begin

You want to load an underlay in order to recreate an architecture on this basis.

Requirements:

You have an underlay drawing in DWG, PDF or an image file format.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Architecture ➤ Planning type 3D - Model planning / 2.5D - Model planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Room and Building Contours

Procedure

Click the button Load underlay ...>.

A context menu opens for selecting the file format.
Select which file format you want to use.
A file explorer opens.
Select the desired file and click Open.
The Table of storeys then opens.
In the Table of storeys, specify the height at which the underlay is to be inserted and confirm with OK.

Results

The selected file has been inserted at the corresponding height in the origin of the drawing.
