Checking the Room Types

Shows step-by-step how to change the room type determined during building detection.

Before you begin

During building detection takes over LINEAR Building the room type from the CAD program into the general building data and transfers this room type into the ventilation concept. If a room does not have the correct type for the ventilation concept, you can subsequently change the room type.

Requirements:

You have a building structure available.
You have selected Germany as the setting for Region in the Configuration so that the modules for domestic ventilation are available.

Navigate to:

Module overview ➤ Domestic ventilation concept DIN 1946-6

Procedure

Select the desired room in the building structure.

LINEAR Building Opens Ventilation Room data.
Open the list of room types in the Geometry, room type according to DIN 1946-6 area by clicking on .
Select the desired room type.

Results

Based on your selection, LINEAR Building the setting adjusts whether the selected room is a supply air, extract air or overflow air room. The change of the room type applies only to the ventilation concept.
