Information about the section Drawing frame.

In the section Drawing frame you can set DIN formats and free formats and insert them into your drawing. The colors for the drawing frame and other lines such as trimming margin and fold marks can be freely selected.

Details format

Use the drop-down list to specify the DIN format. Determine portrait or landscape format by selecting Landscape or Portrait. You can also set individual dimensions in the fields W x H, Fill-margin, Other margins.You can also set individual dimensions in the fields W x H, Fill-margin and Other margins. The specifications Fill-margin and Other margins affect the width of the fill-margin (margin on left of the sheet) and the three other margins (top, bottom and right), respectively.

Color Drawing frame, Color of other lines

You can change the colors of the drawing frame and other lines by clicking in the color field and selecting the desired color in the color dialog that opens.

Print trimming margin

Enabled: A trimming margin is printed as well. Use this option if the output device is plotting from a roll.

Folding marks

Enabled: Folding marks are output along with the layout.

Adjust size to layout

Enabled: When placing drawing frames in layouts, the size of the drawing frame is fixed to the printable size of the layout. The printable size of the layout depends on the selected printer driver and the paper size.

Integrate text field

Enabled: A title block is integrated into the drawing frame, which is automatically filled with the data stored in the Project information.

Drop-down list title blocks

Use the drop-down list to select, edit if necessary, and insert the title block(s) provided by LINEAR. If you have already entered data in the project administration, the title block is automatically filled with this data.

Create drawing frame <

Creates a drawing frame according to the specified settings and automatically places it in the current view.

Insert title block <

Allows you to add title blocks. The currently selected title block in the drop-down list is used. After activating the command, the title block will hang on the cursor and you can place it where you want.
