In the section Label components <, you can add labels to your drawings. You can use the supplied labels to write design data such as dimensions, weight, distances etc. on your components. If necessary, you can adapt these labels to your own needs. The different disciplines and planning types each contain different labeling tools. You can also create your own labels.

Label components <
Starts the labeling command. Select a component and specify the insertion point and rotation angle of the label by clicking the mouse to label the component. If the option automatic is enabled, you can select several components after starting the labeling function and then complete the labeling with Enter.
Text height
Drop-down list to select the text height to be used.
List of labels
Shows the available labels for selection.
The labels Position, Position2 and Position3 are used to label components with item numbers. Which labels you need to use for labeling with item numbers depends on the item list that is or was used to assign the item numbers.

Delete label: Deletes the currently selected label. Self-created labels that are used in all disciplines are also deleted from all disciplines. Alternatively, you can also delete selected labels with the Del key.
Reload label: Updates a loaded label from its label file. This is necessary if you have customized a label from the labeling areas and saved the changes, because the label files are not automatically updated every time they are used, but only at program startup.
Edit label: Opens the label file of the label selected in the list for editing in a separate drawing.
One layer per labeling type
Enabled: Each label type is stored on its own layer during labeling.
With reference line
Enabled: A reference line is inserted between the label and the component.
3D Alignment
Enabled: The label is aligned according to the set view so that the text is always readable.
Disabled: The labeling is aligned according to the component and the readability depends on the currently set view. Not all texts are readable in all views.
Adjust position automatically
Enabled: The position of the label automatically tracks the component.

Enabled: After starting the labeling command, hold down the Shift key and click on all the components you want to label one after another. Then press Enter to automatically create the label for all selected components.
Disabled: After clicking on a component, the label (e.g. dimension) is displayed immediately. It is then placed and aligned.
