Creating a Manifold with the Manifold Generator
Shows step-by-step how to create a manifold with the manifold generator.
Before you begin
You want to create a user-defined manifold with the manifold generator and use it in your drawing.

Procedure
- Click on the button Manifold Generator ....
The Manifold-Setup dialog opens.

- Click on the Manifold Beam button to open the Manifold - Data dialog to enter the manifold data.

- In the Manifold - Data dialog, make all the necessary entries to define the manifold data and confirm the entered data by clicking OK. The Manifold - Data closes. In the Manifold-Setup dialog, a designation according to the configuration is now displayed in the manifold beam and the button for the first supply port becomes active.
- Click on the - button in the bottom row of the manifold structure to open the Port - Data dialog for entering the port data.

- In the Port - Data dialog, enter all the necessary information on the tab Ports Top of Manifold and Ports Bottom of Manifold to define a pair of ports and close the dialog by clicking OK.
The pair of ports has been inserted into the manifold structure and has been labeled with a short name.

- Optional: Insert further port pairs by repeating steps 4 and 5.
- Click on one of the buttons
to insert components. The dialog Component - Data opens.

- Select a Component Type from the drop-down list and define the component by selecting the data from the drop-down lists.

- Click OK to close the dialog and insert the component at the previously selected position in the manifold layout.

- Optional: Repeat steps 7 to 9 to insert further components into the manifold layout.
- Click Draw < to insert the custom manifold into your drawing.
Results
You have inserted the custom manifold into your drawing and can integrate it into a pipe network.
