Align Components or Component Groups with Each Other Using Height Parameters

Shows step-by-step how to align the height of a component or group of components (with possibly different heights) with the height of another component using the height parameters of the LINEAR Properties.

Before you begin

You want to align the height of a component or a group of components (with possibly different heights) with the height of another component using the height parameters.

Requirement:

One of the 3D planning types or 2.5D Model Planning in the Architecture discipline is selected.

Note: To align components or component groups with the height of another component, the height parameters for individual components are used, which are only available in the 3D planning types and 2.5D Model Planning of the Architecture discipline.

Procedure

  1. Select the reference component as well as all components that are to be aligned to this reference.

In the LINEAR Properties, the different height parameters are displayed under Model – Position.

  2. In the field for a height parameter for individual components (Distance between [...] component and [...]), click .
A context menu opens, listing the height levels of all selected components.
