Assigning a Manufacturer Pump

Shows step-by-step how to assign a manufacturer pump to the pumps in the drawing.

Before you begin

You have calculated the network and know the technical requirements for the pumps. Now you want to assign suitable manufacturer pump to the pumps in the drawing.

Navigate to

Project Tab ➤ Discipline Heating/ Potable Water / Cooling / District Networks ➤ Analyse Tab ➤ Command Group Analyse ➤ Material Data ➤ Pumps ...

Applies to: Heating, Potable Water, Cooling, and District Networks.

Pump selection dialog in the LINEAR Solutions for Autodesk AutoCAD

Procedure

Select a manufacturer from the drop-down list Manufacturer.
Select a Series and a model.
Click Assign <.
The dialog Pump selection is hidden and the mouse pointer becomes a pickbox.
In the model, select the pumps you want to assign a manufacturer to with the pickbox. Confirm the selection with Enter.

Results

You have assigned a manufacturer pump to pumps in the drawing that match the requirements and are included in the calculation with the technical data of the assigned pump. The assigned manufacturer pumps are listed in the component list.
