Adding Components to the Material List
Shows step-by-step how to add components to the material list.
Before you begin
You would like to add components to the material compilation and prepare them for printing or export.
Navigate to
Procedure
- Select the desired manufacturer from the dropdown list of all installed manufacturer data sets in the Filter section, or leave the entry <All Manufacturers> to search the entire CAD library.
- If necessary, select the discipline, function, and component class of the component you are searching for. Tip: Alternatively, you can navigate directly to the desired components in the catalogs.
- Enter the desired search term in the Search area and confirm your entry pressing Enter or click on Filter. All manufacturers offering this component are displayed in the output window.
- Navigate to the desired component. Use the interactive path in the top line to navigate to the previous level or back to all installed manufacturer catalogs.
- Configure the component if required.
- Click
in the toolbar.
Results
The component is in the material list and will be taken into account when exporting or printing the list.
