Drawing Doors

Shows step-by-step how to draw in a door.

Before you begin

You want to insert a door in a wall in your drawing.

Navigate to:

Project tab ➤ Discipline Architecture ➤ Planning type 3D - Model planning / 2.5D - Model planning ➤ Create tab ➤ Command group Windows, Doors

Procedure

  1. If necessary, click the triangle next to the Doors < button.
  2. Enter the dimensions for the width, depth and sill of the window, or pick the respective dimension from the drawing using the button .
  3. Select the round or angular shape of the window.
  4. Optional: If necessary, select the Double door option if you want to draw in a double door.
  5. Click the button Doors <.
  6. Click on the wall where you want to insert the door.
    The program will then search for the nearest corner point. This is displayed with an elastic connection to the crosshair.
  7. Enter the value for the distance to corner point and confirm with Enter.
  8. Set the stop of the door leaf with a mouse click.

Results

You have placed the door in the wall.
