Changing Room Types for a Ventilation Concept

Shows step-by-step how to change the room types of rooms for the creation of ventilation concepts for residential spaces.

Before you begin

During building detection, the room type is transferred from the CAD program to the general building data by LINEAR Building and this room type is transferred to the Ventilation module. If a room does not have the correct type for creating a ventilation concept for residential spaces, you can subsequently change the room type for the ventilation concept.

Air Volume Range in LINEAR Building

Procedure

Select the desired room in the Building Structure.

LINEAR Building opens the Domestic Ventilation area.
Open the list of room types in the Geometry, Room Type according to DIN 1946-6 area by clicking on .
Select the desired room type.

Results

Based on your selection, LINEAR Building the setting adjusts whether the selected room is a supply air, extract air or overflow air room. The change of the room type applies only to the ventilation concept.
