About the Dimensioning of a Domestic Ventilation
Explains the concept of dimensioning and quoting in domestic ventilation.
Once you have determined the required air volumes in the Ventilation module and created ventilation concepts with mechanical ventilation for the ventilation zones in your project, you can use the Domestic Ventilation module to design ventilation units, distribution boxes, duct systems and diffusers to suit the requirements determined. Select the desired manufacturer and the corresponding preset and make global settings for the ventilation system. You then design the ventilation components for all rooms.
After the dimensioning, you will receive a detailed overview of the ventilation system in an air flow schedule. The air flow schedule graphically displays all a supply air rooms, extract air rooms, supply/extract air rooms and overflow air rooms and enables the adjustment of pipe lengths, the replacement of ventilation components and the selection of additional material.
Finally, you can print out all the important information about the ventilation system. The printout contains evidence of whether ventilation measures are necessary, the required air flow rates for each individual room, the components that make up the ventilation system and a material compilation.
