About Searching and Filtering Components

Explains the concept of searching and filtering components in LINEAR CAD Browser.

The LINEAR CAD Browser provides two different options for searching and finding manufacturer components. In the Product Browser, all installed manufacturer data sets are displayed alphabetically sorted in a tree structure. Through the search window, you can search for the entered search term in selected providers and in all manufacturer's catalogs simultaneously. Additionally, you can explicitly search for this search term in the short texts, the long texts, or in the item numbers of the components.

In the Filter area, you can perform the same search as in the Product Browser, with the additional option to filter the manufacturer data by the MepClasses Domain, Function, and Class.
