About the Output of Pipe Run Schemes

Explains the concept of the output of pipe networks calculated with the scheme generators and their schemes.

Once the schematic pipe network has been generated and the pipe network calculation has been successfully completed, you can output the calculation results and the pipe run scheme. Here you can specify the data with which the elements of the scheme are to be labeled.

You can also transfer your pipe run schemes with discipline-specific labeling options to a connected CAD program. For gas schemes, Revit-labels are used in LINEAR instead of Revit-labels. Further information on transferring LINEAR Building schemes to a connected CAD program can be found in the “Design networks” help area for , which is only available if you call up the help with a connected CAD program. You will find a link to the corresponding concept in this area at the bottom of this help page.

The material data of the scheme is output in the *.ASD file format, which you can import for further processing in other programs such as LINEAR Quote.
