Checking Results of the Ventilation Concept

Shows step-by-step how to check whether ventilation measures are required for a ventilation zone.

Before you begin

After you have assigned a ventilation concept to a ventilation zone, you can check whether a ventilation measure is required for this ventilation zone.

Note:

Ventilation measures are required when the necessary air volume flow for moisture protection is greater than the air volume flow that is provided through infiltration via the building envelope, as well as when increased requirements are defined for sound insulation, indoor air quality or energy efficiency.

Requirements:

  • You have a building structure available.

  • You have assigned a ventilation concept to the ventilation zone.

Procedure

  1. In the building structure, select the ventilation zone for which you want to check the results.
  2. Open the Results tab in the lower area of the UI.

Results

The Results tab tells you whether ventilation measures are required for the ventilation zone you have selected, as well as the required air volume flows.
