About Consideration of Monitored Objects

If you use the Copy/Monitor function in Revit, monitored objects are copied from the linked architecture to the MEP model. Monitored objects are copied with simplified properties and for this reason are not useful for load calculations.

To prevent monitored objects from being included in the building detection in LINEAR Building, the Room bounding option has to be deactivated in the properties of the respective object. Thus, spaces always extend to the walls of the link and not to the copied walls, which would result in wrong components or areas in Building.
