Information on the Analyse tab in the planning types 3D - IFC Link Workflow and 3D - IFC Import Workflow of the Architecture discipline.

LINEAR Building …
The LINEAR Building ... button opens the program with the same name for building analysis and calculation of building loads and connects it to the CAD. If required, you can cover the calculated building loads directly in LINEAR Building with manufacturer products and then transfer these products to CAD.
Adjust to north orientation, Degree
For IFC workflows, the Set north direction area is only available in the planning type 3D-IFC import workflow.
Here you may specify the north orientation of your drawing by mouse click or by entering the value in degrees. The data can be taken over by LINEAR Building later. By this means, the orientation of all components, such as external walls and possible windows contained therein is transferred to the *.pro file.
Detection options
The Detection options ... button is only available in the 3D - IFC import workflow planning type and opens the Options dialog in which you can make settings for the building capture. The settings become saved in the drawing. If you would like to change the dimensions for the wall thickness and the openings on a long-term basis, please make these adjustments in the drawing template.
The Detection options area is only available in the planning type 3D - IFC-Link workflow. In this area, you can exclude rooms from the detection and specify whether the data stored in the Storey table or the topography of the drawing is used to determine the ground level.
Building detection
In the Building detection section, you can check building structures that have been created in the IFC workflows or in the model planning types of the discipline Architecture, before you transfer them to the LINEAR Building. For example, you can check whether all rooms have been correctly detected.
Delete building structure
Deletes existing building structure from the section Building detection. This may be useful, if the rooms have not been detected correctly and you have changed the drawing subsequently after the first automatic detection. Before you start the automatic detection again, delete the old building structure by clicking Delete building structure.
