Since 2014, "R1 Projectbureau" from Russia have been using BIM: all projects in all phases are designed only in Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D. In February 2020 the company took another step towards integrated design and relied on liNear Solutions for technical calculations. In Frankfurt's Grand Tower, Germany's highest residential complex, all 401 apartments and penthouses will be equipped with dwelling stations from the manufacturer from Ehingen. Decisive for this are the high demands on the heating and cooling supply of the luxury condominiums. In addition, around 300,000 m of pipe of the Uponor Comfort Pipe type will be used for the underfloor heating in the high-rise residential building. more
In cooperation, the City of Aachen and the housing company gewoge AG renovated 377 inner-city block apartments between 2013 and 2018 within the framework of the EU-GUGLE funding project. The aim of the project was to reduce Co2 consumption in the neighbourhood by insulating the enveloping surface (reducing the energy requirement), choosing the energy source and reducing consumption through tenant advice. When implementing the MEP concept, the parties involved relied on the software solutions from liNear. more

Managing major tasks requires many minds. With almost 500 employees, pbr AG as an established general designer realizes qualitatively and quantitatively challenging projects. The generalist teams at eleven locations throughout Germany consist of specialists from all design disciplines, who are optimally coordinated through experienced cooperation in complex projects. pbr AG is also already represented in Russia and Asia. more
The engineering company HPI Himmen is taking important steps toward a comprehensive BIM-workflow with Autodesk and liNear solutions. When designing and constructing buildings, it all comes down to ensuring the various components are optimally coordinated. According to the Building Information Modelling (BIM) approach, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) engineers must provide their models in such a way that they can be integrated with design data from others on the project team. more
Not only motorsport fans were impressed when the new Formula 1 race track, the Yas Marina Circuit, was inaugurated in 2009 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The engineering and architectural company Tilke, based in Aachen, Germany, played a key role in this event. In addition to the track infrastructure, Tilke is also responsible for all the associated construction measures, starting with the master planning of the entire racing area, the grandstands, the press and administration buildings right through to the hotel. more
